Standalone Forums
If a member is suspended or blocked the logged-in member can see standalone forums created by member
Standalone Forums → Discussions/ Replies
If a member is suspended or blocked, the logged-in member can see standalone forum discussions and replies posted by the member. What you will see is the member’s name shown as ‘Unknown Member’ and the member’s avatar will go back to the default avatar set in the Buddyboss – Settings – Profile. Also you are unable to link to the member’s profile when clicking on the members name or avatar.
If you are admin then you can see the name of a suspended member. After clicking the name it will redirect to their profile in WP Admin.
Moreover, the Discussion or Reply content will be visible to both suspended and blocked members.
Widgets → Recent Replies
- If a member is suspended, the member’s replies don’t appear in the widget.
- If a member is blocked, the logged-in member doesn’t see the member’s replies in the widget.
Widgets → Recent Topics
- If a member is suspended, the member’s topics don’t appear in the widget.
- If a member is blocked, the member doesn’t see the member’s topics in the widget.
