We have finally collected ourselves after the schmoozing, sights, and flights involved in attending WordCamp US 2018 in Nashville as a proud sponsor and we can confidently tell you it was a stellar event!
The organizing team and volunteers put on an amazingly smooth experience and didn’t skimp on details. True to the location, there was live music each day at lunch in one of the enormous Music City Centre’s hangar-like convention halls. The catering was consistently excellent (plus it’s no small feat to feed over 2000 people).
And then there were our fellow sponsors, business partners and users. We had a great time making tons of new connections, putting faces to names we’d only read in emails, and even bringing together members of our own team who hadn’t yet met.
The swag game was on point this year. Our team left laden with plenty of unique t-shirts, buttons, socks, all the usual stuff and more. Our swag was even kind of a surprise hit: our round magnetic bottle openers featuring the AppBoss and BuddyBoss logos had run out completely by Saturday afternoon.
We got a chance to hit the town before and after the Friday night party and saw why they call it “Nashvegas.”
