This month, we’ve introduced the ‘Restrict Registration’ feature, providing you with greater control over who can join your community. Now, you can specify which email addresses or domains are allowed or restricted from registering on your site. This feature is a game-changer for maintaining a secure and tailored registration process.

Zoom Time Out Fix: Previously, participants joining Zoom meetings via browser links experienced timeout errors. We’ve resolved this issue to ensure uninterrupted meetings and collaboration.
Profile Embedding: Embedding a TikTok link with the same username as another member used to redirect users to the wrong profile. This bug has been fixed to provide a smoother user experience.
RTL File Extensions: Icons for File Extensions were not displaying correctly when RTL mode was enabled. We’ve rectified this issue to ensure consistency in your BuddyBoss platform.
Activity Link Previews: Link previews were not functioning correctly when referencing the same site in activity posts. We’ve addressed this bug to improve the user experience.
Messages Timezone Fix: AM/PM in private messages displayed varying results due to timezone differences. This bug has been resolved to ensure consistent time display in your private messages.

Our BuddyBoss App now supports comments on Course Lessons and Topics within LearnDash. This addition enhances the interactive learning experience for your users, facilitating discussions and engagement.
Maintenance Screen
We’ve introduced a Maintenance Screen to ensure a smooth user experience when the app needs to be temporarily unavailable for updates or improvements.
Enhancements Made in the BuddyBoss App
Custom Development Styling Options: You now have more styling options to customize the comment container, allowing you to personalize the app’s appearance according to your branding.
Google Play Billing Library Update: We’ve updated the Google Play Billing Library to version 5.0, ensuring your app stays up-to-date with the latest technology and security features.
LearnDash Enrollment Limitation: To ensure fairness, students can no longer enroll in a course that has already reached its maximum student limit.
Bugs Fixed in the BuddyBoss App
LearnDash Quiz Fix: Previously, completed quizzes allowed students to change their answers after completion. This issue has been resolved, ensuring fair assessment.
Zoom Meeting Links: Meeting links will now open the Zoom app if installed on the device. If not, users will be redirected to an in-app browser, recommending the app store download for a smoother experience.
Vimeo Privacy Fix: A privacy error message was displayed when using the HTML embed block with Vimeo content. This issue has been addressed for a seamless multimedia experience.
Media Permissions: Permissions for uploading media were missing for Android 13 models. We’ve fixed this bug to ensure media uploads work seamlessly.
