BuddyBoss is proud to sponsor WordCamp 2018 in Vancouver, Canada!

For the uninitiated, WordCamps are informal, locally organized WordPress conferences about everything WordPress. What’s featured and the way they are organized tends to be an organic reflection of the community that puts on a WordCamp…and as WordPress users, open source is the way we like it.

This year’s WordCamp features sessions on building themes, the planned Gutenberg editor for WordPress 5.0, website security, copyright, content strategy and MUCH more (click here for a full schedule of speakers and sessions).

BuddyBoss will be in attendance with a booth at Robson Square, so make sure to come say hi. (P.S., we’re hiring.)

This is a great opportunity to get answers to your questions from experts, swap stories with people who know exactly what you’re going through as a WordPress site owner or developer, make some local connections and launch exciting new projects.

If you want a better idea of what goes on at WordCamps, have a look here at WordPress.tv.

Oh – and don’t miss the afterparty with live music at Vancouver’s Railway Cafe!

  • Location: 800 Robson St – Robson Square, Vancouver BC
  • Date: October 13, 2018
  • Time: 8am – 5pm

We had a blast at WordCamp in Vancouver! Learned a lot from the expert speakers, connected with awesome people and even some who may be helping us out in the future.

We would like to thank the organizers for putting on a great event, as well as the folks who came over to our table to chat and apply for jobs with us. (We’re still looking!)

Looking forward to being a part of future WordCamps here and elsewhere…stay tuned!
