Billing, Termination, Cancellation and Refund on Monthly & Yearly Subscriptions

The BuddyBoss products are offered on monthly and yearly subscriptions, which entitle the original purchaser access to the products for a period of exactly 1 month/1 year from the date of purchase. 

The purchaser agrees to pay all fees in effect when incurred. You will be billed for your subscription in advance at the time of purchase and the subscription will automatically renew indefinitely until explicitly cancelled. If you cancel your services, your cancellation takes effect on your next billing cycle. This means we won’t be able to refund you for early contract cancellation.

If you have a question about charges made to your account, please contact us immediately. If the charges were made in error, we will immediately credit your account or credit card account for the appropriate amount. 

BuddyBoss has a zero-tolerance policy for chargebacks. Any customer who disputes a credit card payment that is found to be valid will be permanently blacklisted and barred from use of the Service. Any past due fees and costs will be sent to collections. If our collection efforts fail, unpaid debts will be reported to all available credit reporting agencies. If BuddyBoss terminates your account because of a violation of our terms of service, BuddyBoss will not refund any portion of your license fees.

BuddyBoss Plugins & Theme

The BuddyBoss no-risk money-back guarantee offers that, if at any time within the first 14 days of opening your paid Account you decide that BuddyBoss is not for you, then just let our awesome support team know (we make it easy!).

We will stop your Subscription and issue you a refund. Your request for a refund must be received within 24 business hours of the 14 days of the date and time of opening your paid Account. 

While some refunds may be instant, refund credit can take up to 5 – 10 business days to show up in your credit card statement. Refund requests made after this 14-day period will not be granted.

Neither free trial accounts, nor renewals, are eligible for refunds. 

BuddyBoss Mobile App

The BuddyBoss no-risk money-back guarantee offers that, if at any time within the first 14 days of purchasing your BuddyBoss App you decide that the app is not for you, then just let our support team know.

We will stop your Subscription and issue you a refund. Your request for a refund must be received within 24 business hours of the 14 days of the date and time of purchasing your app license.

While some refunds may be instant, refund credit can take up to 5 – 10 business days to show up in your credit card statement. Refund requests made after this 14-day period will not be granted.

Refunds are not applicable on rejection of your application from any App Store or marketplace.

Done For You Services

The Done For You services come with a 14-day money back guarantee. If you change your mind and no longer wish to hire our team to create, configure, customize and prepare your website or app for you, feel free to send us a message and we’ll refund the full amount.

Exceptions, Refunds, Terminations

If however, you initiate the start of the project and our team begins to work on your project, then you will no longer be eligible for a refund on your Done For You service purchase. 

Terminations beyond the refund period or after your first discovery call or questionnaire is submitted (to initiate your project) will not result in a refund. 

We process Done For You project phases on a first in first out basis, and our team ensures that our on-going delivery times are kept at a reasonable speed. The speed of final project delivery is dependent on the speed of the BuddyBoss Done For You team and the speed of responses from the customer. Requests for refund due to delays in project delivery will not result in a refund.

If a project pauses for over thirty (30) days due to your failure to respond to our feedback requests, and if you wish to continue the project, we reserve the right to charge a restart fee of up to the full amount of the Done For You service, to pick up from where we left off. If you wish to cancel the project, payments made are non-refundable and you will not be obligated to make any further payments.

If a project does not start for three (3) months, due to any delay caused on your end, you will be at the risk of losing your service. If after three (3) months, you wish to continue the project, we reserve the right to charge a restart fee of up to the full amount of the Done For You service you have purchased. If you wish to cancel the project, payments made are non-refundable and you will not be obligated to make any further payments.

Each one of the phases of the Done For You service (with the exception of the Preparing for Launch phase of DFY Web) comes with up to two free revisions. Additional revisions beyond the 2 included revisions are billed at $25 USD / revision. 

If you are not happy with the design concept provided or the service overall, this will not result in a refund. Our team will try their best to work on making the changes you request on each revision until you are satisfied with the result.

Note: BuddyBoss refunds can be issued only once. By requesting a refund (if issued), you’re waiving your right to the 14-day Refund Policy, which won’t be valid for future purchases of the same product. Thus, if you subscribe to BuddyBoss again, you won’t be eligible for a refund for that purchase.

Processing of Refunds

If you are eligible for a refund, we will generally process your refund within 7 days or less. Your credit card or PayPal account will be credited with the full amount you have paid. Although we try our best to process refunds in a timely manner, PayPal or your financial institution can take up to 3 weeks to reflect the refund in your bank or PayPal account.

Automatic Renewals

Neither free trial accounts, nor renewals, are eligible for refunds. 

Unless you notify BUDDYBOSS, LLC before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel your renewal, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription for such Renewal using any credit card or other payment medium we have on record for you. A subscription can be cancelled at any time from your account.

Cancellation and Termination

If you wish to cancel your Subscription, you can do so by logging into your account and proceeding with this option through the billing section menu. If you are unable to find this option within the billing section or if you have questions or need assistance, please contact Support and they can assist you with the cancellation process. 

You will remain liable for all charges accrued on your account up to the time that you downgrade or cancel your Subscription, including full monthly fees for the month in which you canceled, provided however that if you cancel your Subscription within the first fourteen (14) days of opening your BuddyBoss Account, you may request a refund of your Subscription fee.

Upon cancellation of your Subscription, BuddyBoss is under no obligation to maintain or store your account information or app configuration. BuddyBoss may, at its option, either delete your information and app immediately or retain it (in full or in part) in accordance with BuddyBoss’ processes and practices.

BuddyBoss reserves the right at any time, and without cost, charge, or liability, to terminate this Agreement at its sole discretion for any reason, including, but not limited to, a failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement. In addition, BuddyBoss may, in its sole discretion, at any time, temporarily or permanently suspend access to your account, Subscription, or Services for any violation or suspected violation of this Agreement. 

BuddyBoss also reserves the right to deny access to anyone, including, but not limited to those users who use proxy servers and/or IP addresses residing in certain geographical areas outside of Canada and the United States. BuddyBoss reserves the right to terminate any portion of the site at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

BuddyBoss Plugin and Theme

When you cancel your subscription, and your current subscription expires, your product license will no longer be active. This means that if the product license is no longer active, you will lose access to functionality and future software updates including:

  • Premium functionality and configuration options
  • Important Security Updates
  • Performance Improvement Updates
  • Feature Enhancements 
  • New Product Features 
  • Latest Product Versions

This also means that you will lose access to our customer support team. So when you need our help with your website, we will unfortunately no longer be able to assist you. 

BuddyBoss App

When you cancel your subscription, and your current subscription expires, your product license will no longer be active. This means that your mobile app will no longer be accessible. 

Once cancelled, your subscription cannot be re-activated and your App ID may be deleted, along with your build configuration and details. 

You will need to make a new purchase if you would like to launch a mobile application. 

Done For You Services

When you cancel your project, or your current project becomes inactive for three (3) months, your project will no longer be active. This means that if the project is no longer accessible from your dashboard, you will lose access to any existing project details and access to our client services team.
