Introduction
BuddyBoss can automatically publish a notification in your community’s Activity Feed whenever a member (or any user) publishes a new WordPress blog post. This guide explains how to turn on that feature so your community stays informed about fresh content.
Enable Automatic Activity Posts
- In your WordPress admin, navigate to BuddyBoss Dashboard > Settings > Activity.
- Locate the Posts in the Activity Feeds section and check WordPress Posts.
- Scroll down and click Save Settings to apply your changes.
Once enabled, every new blog post will generate an activity item in the feed.

Q: The activity items show the wrong author—why?
A: Some SEO or front-end posting plugins may run as a different user. Ensure posts are published under the intended author’s account.
Q: How do I disable this feature later?
A: Return to Settings > Activity and uncheck WordPress Posts, then click Save Settings. No other cleanup is necessary.
