Introduction
The Who’s Online Widget displays members who are currently online on your site. Adding this widget helps create a sense of real-time community activity, encouraging users to interact and connect with others who are active at the same time.
Adding and Configuring the Widget
- Go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Select the widget area where you want to display the list (e.g., Activity Directory Left).
- Click the + icon and search for Who’s Online.

- Add the Who’s Online Widget to the selected area.
- Configure the following options:
- Title – Enter a custom title (e.g., Who’s Online or Currently Active Members).
- Max Members to Show – Define the maximum number of online members to display.
- Title – Enter a custom title (e.g., Who’s Online or Currently Active Members).
- Click Update to save your changes.

Verifying the Widget
- Go to the Activity Feed on the frontend.
- The Who’s Online Widget will appear in the sidebar (e.g., left side of the Activity Directory), showing a list of members currently online.

A: This can occur if no users are currently online. Try again when members are active on the site.
