Introduction
The Members Widget displays a list of members from your community in a chosen sidebar or widget area. This widget helps users discover other members, encouraging interaction and engagement across your platform.
Adding and Configuring the Widget
- Go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Select the widget area where you want the members list to appear (e.g., Activity Directory Left).
- Click the + icon and search for Members.

- Add the Members Widget to the selected area.
- Configure the following options:
- Title – Enter a custom widget title (e.g., Community Members).
- Max Members to Show – Define how many members to display in the list.
- Default Members to Show – Choose which type of members to display (e.g., Newest, Active, or Popular).
- Title – Enter a custom widget title (e.g., Community Members).
- Click Update to save your changes.

Verifying the Widget
- Go to the Activity Feed on the frontend.
- The Members Widget will appear in the sidebar (e.g., left side of the Activity Directory) as Members, showing the list of users according to your selected settings.

Troubleshooting and FAQs
Q: The widget isn’t showing after I added it.
A: Make sure you added it to an active widget area and clicked Update. Refresh your browser or clear the cache if changes don’t appear.
Q: Can I control which members appear first?
A: Yes. You can choose the Default Members to Show option to display members by Newest, Active, or Popular.
Q: Can I place the widget in multiple areas?
A: Yes. You can add the Members Widget to any widget-ready area, such as sidebars or footers.
