How to Edit Activity Post on BuddyBoss

Introduction

This guide explains how to edit activity post on the BuddyBoss Platform. With the Edit Activity feature, members can update their posts by modifying text, photos, documents, and privacy settings. Admins can also set customizable time limits for editing, ensuring that content remains accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.

Enable the Edit Activity Feature

1. Open your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to BuddyBoss > Settings > Activity.
2. In the Activity Settings, mark the checkbox for Edit Activity.

3. Click Save Settings.

Configure the Edit Duration

1. In the same settings panel, select the duration during which users can modify their published posts.
2. Choose one of the following options:
   • Forever
   • 30 Days
   • 7 Days
   • 1 Day
   • 1 Hour
   • 10 Minutes

3. The selected duration determines when the Edit button will be available on activity feed posts.

Edit an Activity Feed Post

1. On the Activity Feed, locate the post you wish to edit and click … (More Options) > Edit button to open the Edit Activity popup.

2. Make the desired changes to the text content, photos, documents, and privacy settings.
3. Click the Update Post button to save your edits.
