Introduction
The default BuddyBoss registration form includes only Email and Password fields to simplify signups. However, enabling BuddyBoss Confirm Email and Password fields adds an extra layer of accuracy, helping users avoid typos and ensuring correct credentials.

Add Confirm Email and Password Fields
Access Registration Settings
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Navigate to BuddyBoss > Settings.
- Click on the Registrations tab.
Enable the Confirm Email Field
- In the Registrations section, find the option Add Email Confirmation to Register Form.
- Check the box to enable it.
- Click Save Settings.
- Refresh the registration page to see the Confirm Email field appear.
Enable the Confirm Password Field
- Go back to BuddyBoss > Settings > Registrations.
- Locate the option Add Password Confirmation to Register Form.
- Check the box to enable it.
- Click Save Settings.
- Refresh the registration page to see the Confirm Password field appear.
Test the Registration Form
- Enter mismatched values in the Email and Confirm Email fields.
- Attempt to submit the form – an error message should appear: “Emails do not match.”
- Repeat the test for the Password and Confirm Password fields.
- Once both fields match, the form will allow successful submission.

Q: I enabled the confirmation fields, but they don’t appear on the registration form.
A: Try clearing your site cache and refreshing the page in an incognito window. Also, ensure you’ve saved the settings correctly.
