Some customers want to put a “new discussion” button at the top of the forum rather than only having one way at the bottom of the forum in mobile view. Achieving this will require custom work as this will change the look and functional aspect of the product.
By default, the platform does not have this option. You can use the following CSS code.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Go to BuddyBoss > Theme Options
2. Under Custom Codes, enable CSS
3. Append the following:
@media screen and (max-width: 799px){ body.forum.sidebar-right:not(.profile-sidebar) .widget-area:not(.widget-area-secondary) { order: -1; }}
4. Save changes.
Please note that this CSS will reverse the position of the discussion list and widget area. This will put the “new discussion” button at the very top.
