How to Customize the Login & Registration Page in BuddyBoss

Introduction

The login and registration page is the first impression your members have when joining your BuddyBoss community. With the BuddyBoss Platform, you can fully customize these screens by adding a custom logo, background image, heading, and description. This guide will walk you through enabling and designing your login and registration page to create a professional, branded experience for your users.

Enable the Custom Login & Registration Screen

Access the Login & Registration Settings

  1. Log in to the Dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on BuddyBoss.
  3. Under BuddyBoss, select Theme Options.
  4. Click on Login & Registration to open the settings panel.

Enable the Custom Screen

  1. Locate the Custom Login/Register Screen toggle.
  2. Toggle it to ON.
  3. Click the Save Changes button.

Verify the Update

  1. Refresh your Sign In page.
  2. Refresh your Registration page.
  3. Confirm that the custom screen settings are applied.

Access the Logo Section

  1. In BuddyBoss > Theme Options > Login & Registration, scroll to the Logo section.
  2. Locate the Upload button for the logo.

  1. Click the Upload button and select your brand logo file.
  2. Click Save Changes.

Confirm the Logo Display

  1. Refresh the Sign In page to verify the logo appears at the top.

Customize the Background & Text

Enable Background Customization

  1. Within the same settings panel, locate the Custom Background toggle.
  2. Toggle it to ON.

Upload a Background Image

  1. Click the Upload button for the background image.
  2. Select your preferred background image file.

Add Custom Text

  1. Enter your Custom Heading in the provided field.
  2. Enter your Custom Text in the corresponding field.

Adjust Design Settings

  1. Locate the Overlay Opacity setting and adjust it to your preference.
  2. Modify the Custom Heading Color to match your brand aesthetics.

Save and Review Changes

  1. Click the Save Changes button.
  2. Refresh both the Sign In and Registration pages to view your updates.
  3. Refer to the existing screenshots to confirm that the setup aligns with the visual guidance.

Troubleshooting and FAQ’s

Q: Why isn’t my custom logo appearing on the Sign In page?

A: Ensure you have uploaded the logo under BuddyBoss > Theme Options > Login & Registration and click Save Changes. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache and refresh the page.

Q: How can I remove a background image after adding one?

A: Navigate to BuddyBoss > Theme Options > Login & Registration, click Remove Image in the Custom Background section, and then click Save Changes.

Q: What should I do if my custom text does not appear?

A: Double-check that you have entered both the Custom Heading and Custom Text correctly. Confirm that you clicked Save Changes after editing.
