Introduction
When composing activity posts, users may prefer a streamlined privacy selector. Although BuddyBoss doesn’t include a direct toggle for hiding the “All Members,” “My Connections,” and “Only Me” labels, you can remove them by adding a custom CSS.
Custom Workaround
- In your WordPress admin, navigate to BuddyBoss > Theme Options.
- Under Custom Codes, enable CSS.
Append the following CSS snippet:
#activity-post-form-privacy label[for="loggedin"],
#activity-post-form-privacy label[for="friends"],
#activity-post-form-privacy label[for="onlyme"] {
display: none;
}- Click Save Changes.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Q: The labels still appear after adding the CSS—what should I check?
A: Confirm that Custom Codes > CSS is enabled, clear any site or CDN caches, and refresh your browser.
Q: Will this CSS affect other components?
A: No. The selector targets only the activity post privacy labels. Other privacy controls remain unaffected.
Q: Can I restore the labels later?
A: Yes. Simply remove or comment out the CSS snippet and save changes; the labels will reappear.
Q: Who can I contact for further assistance?
A: Submit a support ticket via your BuddyBoss account dashboard for personalized help.
