Can anyone weigh in on using the wall instead of the bbpress forum,
since the bbpress forum does have a visual editor if you code the functions file but still has issues I’m told if someone pastes text from a previous post?

I am still configuring my site with buddyboss and have bbpress with a bunch of add-ons, already.
But, as I hear of potential issues using the editor with my non tech audience, was wondering
if I’m over-thinking it and if again, i can just use this wall functionality, instead.

What’s everyone doing, successfully? Does the wall need bbpress, etc?
    Thanks for your input!

The Wall plugin does not need bbPress to function, or vice-versa. I would suggest making a decision based on the nature of what you expect people to be posting. Forums are traditionally for support or community discussion – you could maybe use Buddypress groups as an alternative.

The difference between Wall or Groups is you won’t be able to close a discussion off if you consider it to be resolved.
