Question
March 2, 2016 at 3:00 pm #61167@conscious-craftiesHi,
I’m getting lots of complaints about the speed of my Mobile site since activating your theme 3 days ago (although it works fine for me on my mobile device).
Here’s a sample of some of the comments….
It wouldn’t scroll down properly… I was trying to scroll down the seller shop section and it would only scroll down a few shops then froze and wouldn’t do anything at all… I left that tab open while I worked on others but when I went back on it did the same… scrolled down the page a bit then froze again.
I couldn’t get it to work on tablet so went on my phone and finally managed to buy something. I did nearly give up tho
The mobile site is extremely slow on tablets or phones.. I’ve tried it on 3 different browsers on my tablet and it seemed a little faster on Firefox.
I pressed the menu on the right hand side, it took over a minute to appear and 45 secs to respond to my press
The pictures don’t fully load it takes forever
It starts loading then freezing on me
I advised customers and vendors to click the View as Desktop button whilst the issues are sorted, but when clicked it changes to desktop for a few seconds then reverts back to the mobile site.
Could you look into this please as I’m very close to needing to revert back to my old less pretty theme. I really don’t want to have to do that as despite the few teething problems I do think your theme is awesome.
Many thanks,
Karen

AnonymousYou can also use CDN like maxcdn to improve load time and it’s very simple to setup with w3total cache

there are standalone plugin with add support to maxcdnRegards
