Split: Add Photo Upload Error when using BP Activity Plus

I am on 1.0.3 and still getting an error

@palmdoc I see you have BP Activity Plus installed. If you have that installed I suggest you remove the BB Add Photo button.

Isn’t that an integral part of Buddyboss media?

@palmdoc it is also an integral part of BP Activity Plus. Another user said they were using BB Media for the lightbox and slider and BP Activity Plus for uploads.

So does that mean I should disable the Buddyboss Media plugin if I am using Activity plus? But the latter does not allow a direct camera input

No it does not.
Now I have had to disable the Buddyboss media plugin as too many of my users are trying to upload pics via mobiles to the Activity wall but failing
Earlier pics uploaded via desktop have gone obviously.
Hope there’s a fix but no point having something which frustrates me and my users.

The upload seems to go through though. I can see the picture in /wp-content/uploads/bpfb
What could be the problem
Now I could end up with lots of unlinked image files cluttering up the hosting

@palmdoc for testing purposes can you upload photos ok on mobile if you disable BP Activity Plus?

I set up a test Buddypress site with only the Buddyboss theme, wall and media plugins running and nothing else. Both the Desktop browser and mobile browser are not working with the Add Photo button and there is the same “Error uploading” message.

@palmdoc I could upload a photo to your test site. Can you confirm the settings are setup properly?…I know you were testing other plugins
