It would be great if it was possible to (optionally) place all group forums in a sub forum.
Example: Forums -> Group Forums -> ”all group forums automatically placed here”

Is would also be great if it was somehow possible to disable step 6 (Course Settings) in group creation for an ordinary site member who just wants to create a new group. Thus only allowing a course teacher to add a group to a course.

I have also noticed that the widget in the right column is missing during Group creation. This would be nice to have in order to streamline the user experience.

    Best regards,
    Michael

Hi @mln83, it’s something we need to suggest inside BuddyPress forums as it is a core functionality of the BuddyPress.

    Hi @vapvarun,

I believe the new update – BuddyPress 2.4 allow users to optionally place Group Forums in a dedicated sub forum. Anyway I decided to leave it as is which actually works quite nicely now. I just create a Group for each segment of my site (Developers Group, Teachers Group, Student Hangout, Course 1, Course 2, Course …) and allocate a forum for each group.

    Thanks for your continued support.

    Best regards,
    Michael
