    Using Boss theme my standard WP short codes keep showing up as text. Boss shortcodes work fine when using the drop down which leads me to believe I don’t know what I am doing. Specificly trying to use YouTube shortcode to automatically size videos to fit the theme.

    Thanks Paul. I managed to get it corrected. I am just a noob and trying to get a grip on how WP works.

    Stick with, it’s an excellent piece of software. Shortcodes are best entered in the text editor (not the writing tool shown by default), same element if using a page builder, or a widget.
