Question
April 22, 2015 at 6:07 am #39234@rotjuHi there,
I’m having a weird issue with registering a site form with the Boss theme.
Whenever a user wants to register a new site and does not complete the form the right way, it just refresh the page without any messages. Is there a way to fix this, standard WP themes don’t refresh the page but instead shows error messages on the fields that is not filled in properly.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,Ronald

AlyssaParticipant@rotju would it be possible for you to take a video of the issue. I think this one may be difficult to explain to the developers without having more specifics. Multisite makes things very complex for BuddyPress

Making a video is not an option for me atm. But I’ll try to explain it a little bit better.
It’s the same thing when you want to register an account, but don’t fill in the fields (or not complete/required)… lets say I leave everything blank (no username and no password). The moment you press the button sign up, the form will give you the pop up error with the message (please fill in this field) and it does not refresh the entire page.
Unfortunately this doesn’t happen when registering for a subsite. The form (register a site) will just refresh the page and people will see an empty register form for a subite again. Not knowing what happened and why it didn’t register their subiste, not knowing they filled in an incomplete form.
I hope this makes more sense.
Cheers,Ronald
