Messages problem with Buddyboss 4.0.3+

The messages are not loading in Buddypress on this theme. Tested with Buddypress 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 and also BuddyBoss 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.

I go to my profile page to view messages, “Sorry, no messages were found.”

Send a message to a friend, I can see the sent message till after I load the page then again “Sorry, no messages were found.”

Disabled all plugins to only buddypress and theme activated, same issue.

I disable /buddyboss-child/, enable old theme. Buddypress enabled only with the theme. Messages are found and loading on page now.

Please check this, having messaging broken unexpectedly on my site is very unfortunate due to an update.

Can you tell me all the files Buddyboss uses for the messaging feature?

@mypetadvocate perhaps there was an upload error when updating your site. I am unable to replicate this issue. I suggest trying to reupload the theme via FTP to make certain there are no upload errors. The files we edita are located in buddyboss-theme/budypress/members/single/messages/

I uploaded all the files to replace the current /buddyboss/ messages folder, still no luck.

I can issue a site wide message and send them fine but they will not display in the inbox. You can also search and messages will come up.

@mypetadvocate so this is directly related to something in your child theme then, please confirm?
