Question
January 11, 2016 at 9:57 pm #56077@okwahonetHi there,
When someone registers for my website using the BuddyBoss registration page, they are required to choose a Member Type. However, after the person logs in the first time (after becoming a member), this Member Type setting does not stay (once they are logged in, they no longer have a Member Type – I have to manually set this myself).
I would really like for the members to be able to choose a ‘Member Type’ during registration so that when they become members they can fill out the correct profile form (I have different profile questions for each Member Type). I would like to avoid having to assign a Member Type manually.

January 15, 2016 at 12:50 pm #56363@okwahonetHi there,
I haven’t received a response yet for this problem… Members are choosing a ‘Member Type’ upon registration, however, these settings are not applied to the member (once signed up, they have no Member type).
January 15, 2016 at 4:28 pm #56371@okwahonetP.s. This is the ONLY problem that is stopping me from launching my website live (would like to launch ASAP – have been waiting for response for 5 days). If someone could respond soon, I would really appreciate it!

RegardsJanuary 22, 2016 at 11:09 am #56900@okwahonetHi there,
Can I please get an update on this situation? I originally posted this problem on January 11th. It has been over 10 days and as far as I know, this has not been fixed. I was supposed to launch my social network a week ago and this is starting to make my business look very bad. I am not very happy with the long amount of time it is taking to fix this problem.

Thank you.
