Increase Photo Size In Activity Feed

I have the settings set to large for the photo size in the Activity feed, but I’d like the photos to still be larger. I find that the ones with a portrait orientation are decently sized and seem to take up the full screen, however any landscape orientation photos are realllly small and it’s not because of file size. I’ve uploaded many of my own that are quite big.

Please see screenshots. Ideally, I’d like the image to cover all the way to the green lines, but the red lines (what seem to be the boundaries of the profile photo and text for the post) would be great too.

Any way to do this?

Media plugin have option to choose medium or large image, by default medium size is displayed on activity.
