Conflict with Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets plugin

Just narrowed down an issue. When you have this plugin installed and you go to the activity page on One Social theme and click on the “What’s new username” the text box doesn’t appear and you get the following js errors on the page:

selectboxes.js?ver=1.0.2:58 Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function
css3-animate-it.js?ver=1.2.4:485 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘force_appear’ of undefined
