Changing "You cannot reply to this topic message"

Hi. Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong section.
My forums are tied in with Buddypress Groups. I want to change the string “You cannot reply to this topic” for members who cannot reply because they have not joined the group, to a more friendly “You cannot reply to this topic unless you Join the Group”
Does anyone know how I can customise the child theme so that the message is displayed as such?

@palmdoc I believe the bbPress language file will do this 🙂

Thanks for the tip.
In the bbpress/languages folder there is a bbpress.pot file

I changed the msgstr section as such

#: templates/default/bbpress/form-reply.php:174
msgid “You cannot reply to this topic”
msgstr “You cannot reply to this topic unless you Join the Group first. (The Join Group button is at the top of the page).”

but it didn’t seem to work.

Anyway I edited form-reply.php and changing the string there works. I guess I have to copy form-reply.php to the Buddyboss child theme?
