Change the @mention name to display name

hello,

i just got your plugin i must say it solved allot of headache for me so thnx! 😀 wel worth the 29$

i still have one little problem. we are a gaming community with steam login api. the api reads in everything but it uses a wierd code for the login name.

in the screenshot you can see how this affects the @mention when you write to somebody’s wall.

is it possible to show the displayname instead of the username? in wich file and on what line can i change this or even completly remove the @username part and only show the message ?

since i learned @mention uses the username because its unique i would rather just remove the @mention username and just show the message without … this should be possile right? it was like that on the previous wall plugin

@mention is part of core BuddyPress functionality , It can not be replaced with Display Name.
