BuddyPress Global Search – translation

I’m wondering how to translate the BuddyPress Global Search.
I placed the files (.po + .mo) in the «content/languages/pluggin» directory
Is there anything else I should do ?

Hi @france, it is coming from ‘BuddyPress Follow’ plugin you have to translate this plugin as well.

Thank you for the info,
But I already placed the necessary files for the french translation of the «BuddyPress Follow» in the wp-content/languages/plugins/.
So it should be working ?
Can’t figure out this one…

some parts of the «follow» translation are working, and other are not…

but I still cannot make the «BuddyPress Global Search» switch to french
(along with with some portions of «follow»)

Hi @france, Sorry for extreme delayed response
I have checked plugin codes again we do not have term which have “follow” term, Please attach corresponding screenshot to get idea on which page or layout you are getting it.

Here are a few more precisions about the situation…

There are 2 portions of the translation that I can’t figure out where or how to change to french :
1) directly in the «Global Search» field, when we enter data to search for, the results are presented in english (see 1 enclosed image)
2) in the buddy press admin menu, the majority is translated intrench, but there are still a few terms in english «Follow, Following and Followers» (see 2 enclosed images)

I have notified exact location which need to fixed for auto suggestion option which are not part of translation string at present.

The latest version seems to have taken care of this.
It now works in french.
