"What's New" section submission buttons are missing

I’m using Boss Theme version 1.1.6 and the buttons under the What’s New box have disappeared, meaning you cannot post from that box.

Any idea what caused this issue?

Is there a way to fix it?

Will updating to Boss 2.0.7 fix the issue?

Hi @colinwhiteconsultingllc-com, You can update your parent theme if you have made all changes in child theme only.

From 1.1.6 to 2.0.7 we have fixed lots of small issues.

Please create a proper backup of the site before updating the theme..

I am also having this problem. I have disabled all plugins and cleared cache with no effect.
