    Well as the title says I was curious about adding a parallax scrolling effect to the homepage slides. They look quite nice but sadly use a lot of real estate and its not quite fitting the overall look I am trying to achieve. Before I jump over to adding yet another plugin to this setup I wanted to see if there was something simple I could add to the child theme to have this effect work.

    Thanks for your input we will consider in our future development, Inbuilt slider is simple and light.
    For parallax scrolling effect you can use any other slider plugin like layer slider, Boss have inbuilt option to add slider shortcode for homepage.
