How to Add BuddyBoss as Admin to Your Apple Developer Account

Introduction

Granting BuddyBoss Admin access to your Apple Developer team lets our engineers manage certificates, identifiers, and profiles on your behalf streamlining your iOS build and submission process. This guide will walk you through inviting BuddyBoss as an Admin user in App Store Connect, so we can keep your provisioning and deployment running smoothly.

Inviting BuddyBoss as Admin

  1. Log in to your Apple Developer Account at developer.apple.com. If you belong to multiple teams, select the correct one from the team picker at the top.
  2. Go to Users and Access in the sidebar.
  3. Click the plus (“+”) button in the top-right corner to invite a new user.
  4. Complete the invite form:
    • First Name: BuddyBoss
    • Last Name: Manager
    • Email: (Use the address specified in the questionnaire)
    • Roles: Select Admin
    • Apps: Choose the app(s) you want BuddyBoss to manage
    • Developer Resources: Check Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profile
  1. Click Invite. BuddyBoss will receive and accept the invitation; once accepted, our team can configure your provisioning and certificates.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: I don’t see the “Users and Access” section.
A: Only Account Holders and Admins can invite users. Verify you have the correct role under your team profile.

A: Apple’s system can take a few minutes to sync. If it’s still missing after 15 minutes, check your team filter or resend the invite.

Q: I selected the wrong app under “Apps.”
A: Edit BuddyBoss’s access by returning to Users and Access, clicking their name, and updating the Apps permissions.

Q: Can I remove BuddyBoss after provisioning is complete?
A: Yes, navigate back to Users and Access, select the user, and downgrade or remove their Admin role at any time.
