    Hi there.

    I, like so many people, need to have additional custom fields for specific wordpress/BP roles. I have installed this plugin and it gives me great field development for a membership role BUT can I tie this back to WP/BP roles.

    The world wants this, everyone is asking for it. Role based custom fields so that you can use BP in commercial sites that need one to many relationships for users. Teachers and Students, Shops and customers, charities and donorts

    there are many many other plugins that do it but without BP and we all want the goodness of BP

    Can BP Member types tie a member type to a WP role and display / manage that way?

    Hi @derekk2110

    Sorry for delayed response.
    With current version you can link wp user roles with member type.

    You can also control x-profile fields as per member type.

    It will help to keep different set of profile fields for different member type.
