    Hello,

I decided today to update the BP to the latest version and the only problem I encountered is with the Toolbar.
It doesn’t want to show up anymore. Tried to deactivate plugins, cleared cache etc. Nothing. The option in not unchecked on the user profile to disable the WP Toolbar, tried with other user roles and same thing.

Any idea what could be the problem?

    – deactivated all plugins
    – switched to Buddyboss default theme
    – wp_header and wp_footer are not missing
    – checked if I have the toolbar hidden via CSS but it’s not even generated in the page source, so the problem is somewhere else.

@icepin try selecting the option to hide it, save, then select option to show and save. Perhaps this is a database error

From all the plugins I kept active only the Maintenance one. And guess what was causing the problem 🙂
If anybody is using Maintenance by Fruitful Code, don’t uncheck Show Admin Bar. Even if Maintenance is OFF the Toolbar will be off to 🙂

    Thanks for reply TJ.

Glad you were able to resolve this. This maintenance plugin has been starting to cause havok for BuddyPress sites for customers. I wonder if it is truly BuddyPress compatible.
