TypeError: $ is not a function

Hi,

We’ve identified a TypeError: $ is not a function in buddyboss-media.min.js:1:15981. This error is preventing display of SharePrints galleries (SharePrints Gallery plugin) on our corporate portal.

Short of login access, we can provide any additional information necessary to address this concern.

@csanossian it appears this is not the first time this plugin has caused conflicts with other themes/plugins, see discussion here: https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/support/q/shareprints-plugin-disables-the-pagebuilder-bb-gallery-doesnt-seem-to-work/

Unfortunately the above discussion did not yet resolve the issue. Can you check with the plugin owner if there is a jquery noconflict mode in the plugin? Also, is the plugin calling fitvids?

I appreciate your prompt reply! The conflict issue at the link you provided was not related to SharePrints, as per the last answer.

I am attaching a PNG with the output from Chrome Console. The TypeError appears to be associated with the BuddyBoss Media plugin, at column 15984.

@csanossian I’ve sent an email to our developers to develop a fix.

We added a no-Conflict clause. Not 100% sure if this will fix your issue, we’ll see. Will be added in next release.
