Suggestion for another child theme

Maybe I can get some opinion on this:

I think I am not the only one that has some issues with the new design of the header. I also liked the search on my mobile where there is now just the logo. The expanding search plus a cart would be nice maybe ;). Cart plus notifications would be also great on all sizes (or merge the notifications with the user picture?) and only show the cart when not empty. Also why not remove the name of the user (he/she should know their name 😉 Is this all configurable as I could not yet start installing my site so I just put together things I read in the forum and the demo. If not easily configurable and I am more a user than a dev/designer I would appreciate a Social Learner child theme that would be more close to the old Boss design in things like the search and give more space in the header through deleting the user name ?

How are you (all the others using this new theme) are seeing handling this?

How do you design bbPress on mobile as it is very minimalistic at the moment.

if i had a hand on the Sensei thing, i would be able to answer all your design needs, as it’s just simple customization… sadly i do not have the $ for the upgrade as i do not need it right now…
