questions on buddypress

Hi

I want to understand the default behaviour of buddypress:

1. when new posts and comments are made in the blog will they appear on the activity streams of all members?

2. if the above is possible, when comments are made in the activity stream will they appear under comments in the blog?

I tried to test this – but the articleposted in the blog by a member x is not showing up in the activity stream of member y . I am wondering if this is a problem with our installation, settings or plugin conflict.

4. Is it possible to respond to a forum topic from the activity stream?

@vmgbpo 1) It will show up in the global activity but not on their profile/wall
1b) this is not to say that it isn’t possible but would be custom development

2) No, WordPress comments are completely separate from BuddyPress comments
2b) I believe this is possible with custom development
