    Looking for some possible reasons why in the past two weeks the only email notifications I (and members) are receiving is for forum replies.

    No longer receiving an email update for mentions or replies/comments made to Updates on Profile Walls or All Activity Wall.

    I doubled checked my Settings
    as well as all settings I could figure out on the Dashboard.

    See Screen Shots.

    I tested by logging in as another member: Alaina
    Posting an update as a Mention, as a Reply to my comment and in the forums.
    The ONLY email I received, was the comment in the forums.

    What am I missing?

    Hi @holidayjoi,

    Wall plugin do not override any mail configuration.

    Please try to deactivate your other plugins plugins for a while to debug the issue.

    We can't just deactivate all the plugins…. This is a paid membership site, some of the plugins active are connections to InfusionSoft, etc. Do you (or anyone else) have any other suggestions? Again, the problem is specifically Wall related – with @ mentions, comments and wall post replies.

    We are running WordPress 4.4.2 with the following plugins active:

    Could you try to deactivate BuddyBoss Wall plugin, and let me know if you receiving the email notifications after deactivating BuddyBoss Wall plugin?

    May I ask… when this is deactivated, how will it affect the current information posted on the activity wall?

    My community is highly interactive and I am just concerned if I deactivate what impact this will have.

    Thanks in advance for any additional information you can provide.

    No, deactivating BuddyBoss Wall won't affect any information posted on wall. the current information posted on the activity wall must stay untouched. 🙂

    I deactivated…
    logged in on a different browser with another member's log on, posted replies.. as well as mentions using my @ name…

    no notification emails sent

    I then RE-activated the plug in – duplicated the same steps – – still nothing.

    What is my next step?

    May I ask how a thread that was started and closed 6 years ago is of any help?

    The email notifications from replies on WALLS as well as mentions with @, stopped about a month ago after updates to buddypress/boss were made.

    I'm afraid BuddyBoss Wall doesn't have any control over any emails. If this issue related to WordPress Email Sending, I would suggest that you follow these troubleshooting instruction: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-not-sending-emails

    I am confused…
    so when I am looking at My Email Settings on my profile page… and I have checked that I would like to receive email notifications for:

    Activity
    A member mentions you in an update using “@holidayjoi
    A member replies to an update or comment you've posted

    and

    Messages
    A member sends you a new message

    (See attached – the email template I am seeing to CUSTOMIZE from my dashboard – is no longer being sent… only ones being are from forum posts)

    This has nothing to do with BuddyBoss Wall?

    As far as wordpress sending emails..
    YES it IS sending emails…. but ONLY for comments made in the Forums.
    So I am getting SOME email notifies but not ALL…. see attached – right now these are the ONLY email notifies and they are directly tied to FORUM posts.

    I want email notifications for replies posted on the Activity Wall and personal messages sent…. as I have adjusted my settings TO be receiving.

    This is getting very frustrating as it appears I am just being pointed in multiple directions (including that I need to look at support threads made 6 years ago) rather than getting a straight answer.

    Everything was in working order up until a month ago when I made updates to BuddyBoss/Press plug ins.

    Can someone PLEASE help!
    I have an extremely active private membership site and I am concerned there are comments and questions being lost for no one is receiving notifications of activity made on and WALL or Profile Walls.

    I have already tested deactivating the WALL plug in and nothing changed.
