Member Profile Menue

When I log into my MEMBER account and click the top right profile icon it only shows “Log Out”. How do I get the profile drop down for MEMBER’s to look like it does for the ADMIN account?

Please see difference in screenshots attached. The ADMIN account has a lot of dropdowns with notifications and the MEMBER account only has the logout button.

Hi, I am not using any hide adminbar plugin or function on the site. I have left it how it is right out of the box. It seems there might be a bug or something I’m missing in the code to make this work. I can give you my wordpress login through email if you would like to take a quick look at it.

Any other suggestions?

I just checked and the only way I am able to get the dropdown menu to show and get the noficiations to work is if I switch new user role to Admin. There has to be another way to get notifications without having to have members register with admin permissions.

How do we fix this issue? Any ideas?

Hi @heavenlygiftedpeople, Try to deactivate plugins one by one to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

I deactivated all the plugins and reactivated them all and it worked. I guess it wasn’t any specific plugin but I just needed to deactivate and activate them all again.
