Links not working

Anytime i paste a link into the Activity Text Area nothing happends, but using your SandBox demo site it works great and shows an excerpt and thumbnail??

Hi @aaronkine, Latest version of BuddyBoss Media has been launched please update your plugins..hope it will resolve your issues.

If you have any further queries let us know..

Incase, if it does not work..please deactivate plugins one by one to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

Problem still there. Pasting a link into Activity Post Area does nothing, no preview or anything.

I Disabled ALL PLUGINS except BuddyBoss Media 3.1.8 and BuddyPress 2.5.1.
I also activated the Original BuddyBoss Theme to 4.2.9.

Any more ideas why BP Media is not working?

FYI – about 1 month ago I made sure WpEngine Turned Off Heartbeat API which fixed some other issues.

MORE NOTES:
Just to be SURE this was not a WpEngine issue, I also installed BP 2.5.1, BP Media 3.1.8 and BuddyBoss Theme 4.2.9 on my OTHER Testing site… SAME PROBLEM?

Link preview is part of BuddyBoss Wall plugin, it’s not inside media plugin. It’s working fine with BuddyBoss Wall plugin.

OK, I purchased BP Wall, installed it, Activated it… and it caused the website to look all screwed up. The Slider now shows up (Which was coded to only show for logged out users) and all the right sidebars are gone and the Activity Feed looks strange… look at these screenshots:

So I turned OFF ALL plugins except BP Wall, BP Media and BuddyPress and changed to the default BB Theme. but still had problems. no console errors either.?? please help fix this.

OK… As i was writing this I decided to change a few settings in BP Wall and found that when I changed the BP Wall Setting “Select the default Wall tab on profiles.” from WALL to NEWS FEED the website gets all messed up. Why is that? why is this setting causing this major error?
