Limit upload size

Is there any way to limit the upload size of images for users. I can’t find anything in the settings panel, which leads me to believe that this is implemented. Aren’t you worried about the massive amount of data storage required to host large image files?

Hi @john-davenport,

Sorry , Media Plugin do not have any upload limit option at present. You can limit you max upload limit using you php configuration
upload_max_filesize = 32M
inside php.ini if you need to limit upto 32MB

I’m bringing this topic back to the front. I just installed Media and was very surprised that there is no ability to limit the upload sizes. Please consider adding this option in the next release. It’s pretty important. 🙂

Media upload limit, it’s already in our suggestion list.
It will be available in our future version, at present it’s not included in our timeline
