How to switch from BuddyBoss to Boss Theme?

So I started off conservative and purchased the BuddyBoss theme…after getting set up and comparing features of Boss, I wanted to switch.

Boss theme has been purchased, but when I attempt to upload this new theme (parent first), this is the message I get:

“The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”

I am starting with scratch so not worried about losing anything…how can I delete the BuddyBoss theme and install the new Boss theme?

Please help.

to clarify…I have deleted both the BuddyBoss parent and child themes.

@holidayjoi You could unzip both the Boss parent and child theme and upload via FTP. Then activate the child theme in WP admin.

@holidayjoi Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! You may have a more serious issue with the php max upload limit. You may want to contact your host to see if it can be raised.

I use Media Temple as my host and they helped me solve it – which I should have asked them to begin with!
