I am hoping that the title explains this. I have a top level menu item in the main menu that has sub menu items and sub sub menu items. I am wondering how to disable the top menu item so that when it is clicked on nothing happens. Is this possible? I know how to do it in a static website in the navigation area but not sure in WP in a theme. I know that a page has to be created and then that can be added to the main menu but if I don’t want any content on that page but only on the sub pages, I am confused as to how to handle this.

@foxdenvixen Go to Appearance > Menus and on the left side expand Links. Enter a # for the URL and give the link a Title. Add to the menu and drag it to it’s appropriate position with the child links beneath.

Thank you. That worked. Now I know how to handle this in WP.
