    I made two friendship request from two other accounts in order to test this capability and I received two emails and also when I login I have two notifications. However when I click on them it tells me: “You have no pending friendship requests.” There is no way to approve them. Please Help

    @ggoaga The Boss theme does not make any edits to these base BuddyPress functions. You may want to check by switching to the default WordPress theme 2015 and check if you can see the friend requests. Friend requests can be cancelled so you will get a notification but also be cancelled. I’m not sure if changing your username would have any factor in that as well. You may need to contact BuddyPress for support on this one. But it could also be a conflict with the follower plugin as the plugin it typically used with the friend component of BuddyPress disabled. I’m not sure if that is a requirement of the plugin.
