Question
July 15, 2015 at 8:49 am #42707@jhoewnerCan a user set his own cover photo – the one that is shown behind the portrait in the wall and other views?
Shouldn't that be possible? Thanks for any help.

AlyssaParticipant@jhoewner when in the profile users can change their cover photo. The link to change should be on the photo its self.
July 20, 2015 at 5:07 am #43032@jhoewnerBut as an admin how do i activate the user's capabilty to change the cover photo? I nether found an option in BuddyPRess nor in Boss Theme Customization or elsewhere.

AlyssaParticipant@jhoewner there is no setting for this. All users have this ability built-in. You are unable to toggle this.
July 20, 2015 at 9:21 am #43051@jhoewnerI just discovered the bug: the option to change the cover was there in fact but the button was hidden (repositioned) under the top navigation. As soon as i define a logo in the theme customization, the button disappears because header height is (wrongly) recalculated. by some script. The top-margin of the right panel is only 25px then.
In your Boss Demo there is no logo. So the bug does not show up.July 21, 2015 at 5:27 pm #43105@alyssa-buddyboss
AlyssaParticipant@jhoewner I see, there appears to be some bug where the logo height is not calculated by the wordpress function getimagesize. We are working to resolve this.
July 21, 2015 at 8:15 pm #43118@ggoagaI have the same problem. How can I fix it without removing my logo?

AlyssaParticipant@jhoewner @ggoaga a couple of things:
Make sure your hosting provider PHP settings have allow_url_fopen on
Please make sure there are no numbers in the filename
Make sure your site is available to the public and not password protected
We are working on a fallback size if the wordpress function getimagesize is unable to get your image content, this should be implemented in the next release within the next 4 weeks but could be sooner.
Please let me know after you check the above issues if it is resolved.
