BuddyPress Profile Photo

Hi,

We have a WP multisite incorporating BP. Users are unable to edit profile photos. If I attempt to update BuddyPress settings (see screen grab attached) and select Save Settings the boxes I checked switch back to unchecked. Something is overriding the change. Then, if I attempt to update a profile photo (see second screen grab attached) I get a file type not permitted error. The file types are permitted and can be added to WP posts and the BP Activity stream. It seems to be exclusively around BP profiles.

Hello @opengreg, These options are bydefault disbled in Boss theme because we are using our own Cover Photo functionality.

Please let me know Which file type your are trying to upload as it supports jpeg, png etc.

Hi @opengreg, Change Profile photo is not override by us. Might be ay plugin is creating any conflict or folder permission.

Yeah, it was iThemes security that was the cause. Moved to Wordfence and all is working again.
