Introduction
Currently, the BuddyBoss App does not offer a built-in option to send push notifications exclusively to either Android or Apple (iOS) users. By default, notifications are sent to all app users regardless of their device type.
Custom Development Required
If you need the ability to target notifications specifically to Android or iOS users, this would require custom development. You would need a developer to:
- Modify the push notification logic to differentiate between Android and iOS devices.
- Implement custom filters within the notification system.
- Ensure compatibility with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android and Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS.
