Introduction
If you’ve purchased and installed BuddyBoss Platform Pro or the BuddyBoss Theme but only see Theme Options, Custom Fonts, and License Keys in the BuddyBoss dashboard, it’s because the BuddyBoss Platform plugin isn’t yet installed and activated. Follow the steps below to download, upload, and activate the plugin so you can access the full dashboard menu.
Download the BuddyBoss Platform Plugin
- Log in to your BuddyBoss account at https://www.buddyboss.com/my-account.
- Navigate to Downloads in the account menu.
- Locate BuddyBoss Platform in the list of available products.
- Click Download to save the ZIP file to your computer.
Upload the BuddyBoss Platform Plugin to WordPress
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Choose the BuddyBoss Platform ZIP file you downloaded.
- Click Install Now and wait for WordPress to unpack the plugin.
Activate the BuddyBoss Platform Plugin
- After installation, click Activate Plugin on the success screen.
- Alternatively, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, find BuddyBoss Platform, and click Activate.
Once activated, the complete BuddyBoss Dashboard menu—including Components, Tools, Appearance, and other sections—will become visible.
