Introduction
The BuddyBoss App defaults to portrait orientation for most screens. Currently, landscape mode is only enabled for media playback—namely videos and images. Other core pages do not yet adapt to landscape viewing.
Supported Landscape Views
- Video Player: Full-screen landscape playback for all video content.
- Image Viewer: Tiled and full-screen image display in landscape.
Pages Not Yet Supported in Landscape
- Groups: Group activity and directory pages remain portrait-only.
- Activity Feed: Timeline and post stream pages do not rotate.
- Profile & Settings: User profile, Settings panel, and other miscellaneous screens are locked to portrait.

Q: Why doesn’t the entire app support landscape mode?
A: Landscape orientation is currently limited to media playback to maintain layout stability and avoid UI disruptions in other areas.
Q: Can I force landscape mode using device settings or custom development?
A: The app respects its built-in orientation settings. Custom development is required to override orientation behavior on unsupported pages.
Q: My videos won’t switch to landscape—what should I check?
A: Ensure your device’s rotation lock is disabled and the video player is set to fullscreen mode.
