Introduction
Enabling the Share and Related Posts features in your BuddyBoss App makes it easy for members to spread your content and discover more posts, boosting engagement and time spent in your community. In this tutorial, you’ll activate these options in the plugin settings, learn how users share posts via their device’s native share sheet, and see how related posts surface at the end of each article.

Enabling Share and Related Posts
- Navigate to BuddyBoss App > Settings > Blog Posts in your WordPress Dashboard.
- Under Bookmarking, check Enable Sharing and Enable Related Posts.
- Click Save Changes.
Sharing a Blog Post in the App
- Open the BuddyBoss App and tap Blog Posts.
- Select any article to view its single-post screen.
- Tap the Share icon next to the comment button at the top.
- Choose Copy or pick any installed app from the share sheet to send the post link.
Viewing Related Posts
- Scroll to the bottom of any blog post in the app.
- Browse the Related Posts list, these are pulled from the same category.
- Tap See All to view every related article.
- If a post has no category, the section defaults to the latest posts by date.

Troubleshooting and FAQs
Q: I don’t see the Share button on blog posts.
A: Confirm Enable Sharing is active under BuddyBoss App > Settings > Blog Posts, then restart the app.
Q: The Related Posts section is missing or empty.
A: Verify Enable Related Posts is checked and ensure each post has a category assigned; uncategorized posts fallback to recent posts.
Q: My changes didn’t take effect after saving.
A: Clear your site and browser cache or reload the BuddyBoss App to pull in updated settings.
Q: Can I share custom post types?
A: Not currently, sharing and related-posts features only support standard WordPress posts.
