How to Edit Activity Comments on BuddyBoss

Introduction

Customize comment editing on the BuddyBoss Platform using built-in settings. This feature enables members to update their comments—whether editing text or adding images, videos, emojis, documents, or GIFs—ensuring that discussions remain accurate and engaging.

Enable the Edit Comment Feature:

1. Open your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to BuddyBoss > Settings > Activity.
2. In the Activity Settings panel, locate the Edit Comment option and check the box to allow members to edit their comments for a specified duration or indefinitely.

3. Click the Save Settings button to apply your changes.

Test the Edit Comment Feature

1. Go to your Activity Feed and post a comment on any activity.
2. Click the ellipsis (3 dots) on your comment to open the drop-down menu, then select Edit.
