How to Display Your Default BuddyBoss Pages

Introduction

BuddyBoss uses dedicated WordPress pages as placeholders for its core community components (Forums, Groups, Activity Feed, and more). You’ll first create blank pages (with any title) and then map them under BuddyBoss settings so your site’s navigation and links work correctly.

Assign Default Component Pages

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to BuddyBoss > Pages.
  2. Under Component Pages, locate each component (Forums, Groups, Activity Feed, etc.) and select the page you created for it.
  1. Click Save Settings to apply your mappings.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

Q: The component page shows as blank on the front end—what’s wrong?
A: These pages act as dynamic placeholders—no static content appears. Clear any caching, then verify your theme’s menu links point to those pages.

Q: My component pages aren’t in the site menu—how do I add them?
A: Go to Appearance > Menus, find your component pages under Pages, add them to your menu structure, and save the menu.

Q: Can I delete and recreate a component page?
A: You can, but you must then revisit BuddyBoss > Pages to reassign the new page before it functions properly.
