How to Create a Dedicated Page for Users with Specific Profile Types in BuddyBoss Platform

Introduction

Creating a dedicated page for specific profile types, allows you to showcase user groups separately, enhancing navigation and user experience.

Get the Shortcode for the Profile Type

1. Go to BuddyBoss Dashboard > Profiles > Profile Types.
2. Find the Profile Type you want to display and click Edit.
3. Scroll down to the Shortcode section.
4. Click Copy Shortcode to copy it to your clipboard.

Create a New Page

1. Navigate to the left sidebar and select Pages > Add New.

2. A new page editor will open.

Add Shortcode Block

1. In the page editor, locate the Blocks panel.
2. Search for and select the Shortcode block.
3. Click on the Shortcode block to add it to your page.

Paste the Shortcode

1. Paste the shortcode you copied earlier into the Shortcode block.

Note: This shortcode is specifically for displaying Teacher profiles.

Publish the Page

1. Once the shortcode is added, click the Publish button.
2. Confirm the publication by clicking Publish again in the confirmation dialog.

View the Page

1. After publishing, click the View Page button.
2. You will see the newly created page displaying Teacher profiles only.

This dedicated page is now accessible to visitors who want to browse through Teacher profiles.
